Keto and Autoimmune Diseases

Keto and Autoimmune Diseases – How a Healthy Diet and Lifestyle Can Heal Your Body Now

keto and autoimmune diseases are synonymous. They refer to the beneficial effects that these diets have on the human body. People who suffer from diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, obesity, and other serious health problems can benefit immensely from this approach to dieting. In this Personal Account, Accountant Shaun Mynar shares about how the Ketogenic Approach transformed her life.

Shaun is a certified Nutrition Specialist with a Master’s Degree in Nutritional Science. She loves to cook, bake, and eat healthy. Her favorite foods include organic chicken, organic red snapper, sweet potatoes, and chicken breasts with organic fat. When it came to dieting, she was a strong believer in paleo and gluten free. She had been taking anti-inflammatory medication for years and was always on the lookout for alternative methods to healing her disease. When she heard about the popular CrossFit system and saw how it fit into her lifestyle, she knew she had found her life’s purpose.

Shaun’s biggest challenge in her life was the constant itching in her joints. It wasn’t until she started following a Paleo diet that she really began to feel better. She started by eliminating gluten grains from her diet. After that, she added fatty acids, fish oil, salmon, and chicken to get the full benefits of the keto diet.

Her doctor was not supportive of Shaun’s plan to take a holistic approach to her health, but she didn’t see a point in trying to live like a caveman and accepting her symptoms. She wanted to treat her autoimmune disorder as if it were a medical problem requiring medication and drastic changes to her thought life. She took nutritional supplements, tried the crossfire program, and tried out the set meal plan.

The key to her long-term success was sticking with a healthy diet and exercise plan. Her doctors would tell her to eat as much red meat as she wanted, and to eat as many eggs each week. She would have long lists of food items to remove from her diet if she was having any trouble with gaining weight or detoxifying her body. She never allowed herself to go on an extreme diet in hopes of curing her disease, even though she often felt sick to her stomach when she did. She just wanted to feel well so she wouldn’t get sick as often.

What I have learned over the years is that you can be healthy by sticking to the right foods and the right amounts of them. You do not need to starve yourself to lose weight or to cleanse your body. In fact, you do not need to put anything in your body that will hurt it or destroy its ability to function properly. You do not need to use harsh chemicals or risky prescription drugs either. All you need is a healthy diet and an exercise plan. If you follow those two things, then you are on your way to living a longer and more productive life.

Sticking to a diet that is high in proteins and low in carbohydrates will help keep your body functioning properly. Carbohydrates are what give you energy, so you need to make sure you get plenty each day. Proteins are the building blocks of your muscles, so you should make sure you get plenty of those too. Fruits and vegetables will give you the vitamins and nutrients you need for a healthy and active life as well.

By maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle, you can fight off many degenerative diseases in your body and maintain the health of your organs, skin, kidneys, heart, lungs and brain. You will also feel better mentally and physically. Your immune system will be stronger and your energy levels will rise. And, all of these benefits can be yours with the diets designed for people with keto and autoimmune diseases.
