1/4 pack Penne
Rigate
1 pound lean ground beef, browned
3/4 C onion, finely chopped
1.5 lb. plum tomatoes, crushed
24-ounce can unsalted tomato juice
1 C cottage cheese
2 Cs Mozzarella cheese, grated
1 tsp parsley flakes
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
Rinse browned
ground beef under hot water. Drain well. In a crock pot, add Penne
Rigate, browned beef and remaining ingredients. Stir and cook on
high for 4
1/2 hours.
